Hello. I apologize for necro-posting, but youku seems to have a problem again. I was downloading a video (in parts) at modest speeds about 4 days ago, but the day after, it's started to show a "Temporarily Unavailable" error that clocks down 10 min increments and tries again. It's been a few days, and still doing it.

Can you check if it is just me? Thank you.

If you would like more info, I would be glad to share.

The plug-in seems to work fine here. Can you download files from this host in your browser when this happens in jD? How much do you usually download when this happens?

How would I test downloading? youku is a video site, much like youtube. You're not "supposed" to download their videos (meaning that they don't provide a download option).

Well, I usually don't download videos off of them. I just happened to find the video I want on their website.
I was downloading each part one by one, limiting max of simultaneous downloads per host to 1 in JD.
I think there are 20 parts in all, I downloaded some of them incredibly fast (1-2MB/sec) while some were slower but consistent.
I have 4 parts left, and none of them download due to the error.

Edit: Just checked now again. It still does not work.

Maybe? not sure upload a logfile with -brdebug -debug (you can do this by closing jd and edit create_windowslog.bat to include -brdebug and then start by running the bat file)

Hmm... Well I'm stumped.
I just opened JD again to see if it got resolved, but no. Still the same error.

Should I take a screenshot of what it looks like?

So the problem exists on the content providers side, they use many servers to load balance content via many IP's within a pool. Some of the returned servers do not have complete set of online files and return 404. A simple work around at the user level is too clear your operating system dns. Windows users can 'run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns'

Until I can figure out a easy way to implement a work around in jdownloader

take care
