Default problem with freakshare

When you finished a file, freakshare usually asks you to wait 10 minutes before you download again.
However Jdownloader usually repeats 10 minute countdown several times.
Sometimes, I can only download 2 files a day because it's counting down all the time.
When I use IE, it never happend.
Maybe it's the same reason as "Megaupload Download limit badtime" ?

@jesph
If you do not download anything for let's say one day and then you wanna download something, do you ALWAYS have to wait 10 minutes before the download ?
...whatever the best would be if you could enter the support chat and contact me so i can take a look at this

I think I don't have to wait 10 minutes if I didn't download anything for a long time.
But after I download something, I have to wait 10 minutes with IE, but a lot of 10 minutes with JD.

Default Freakshare and Badongo problems

For some reason my jdownloader cant' even download a single file from FreakShare, and freakshare doesn't even have a captcha text thing.

Here's the problem: I was watching Jdownloader doing countdown for the freakshare file, and once it reached 0, the counter restarted again to the 10 minutes thing, and it just keep going. I have no problem doing it from the browser so I am sure the file is in good conditon.

For Badongo, it just tell me Fatal Error after the countdown finishes. Is there a better way to check the error in a log of some sort?

Thx.

For me, I waited for 5 hours at least, and it's still doing the 10 minutes countdown.

@MuffinMan123
You didn't read the rules and you posted in the wrong forum so i merged your thread with another freakshare thread.
Please post a detailed log for the badongo error!!

Guys i really don't know why the countdown is always restarting for you as for me it works great!

Could you explain how the Hoster-Plugin work?
Because, from the log,it seems that JD waits 10 minutes and "reconnect" to freakshare.
And I found that once I reconnected to freakshare, the counter restarted again to the 10 minutes, even with the browser.

By the way, is that possible to use a free account in JD?
In some hosts, it can save a lot of time of waiting.
With a free account, I only have to wait 150 sec on freakshare.

Could you try using your free account in the premium account settings for freakshare.net? It might work.

same here

countdown repeats over and over, 10 min 10 min...

good idea for the free acount the timer is lower like when you use megaupload free account in premium accounts of jdownloader, the timer of 45 of no user down to 25 for free user, btw this one works the megaupload but the freakshare doesn´t

from a list of files you daily download 2 files! jdownloader don´t allow more but i you download from website inmmediatly download LOL!

bad english sorry :S (i guess)

I found a fix for the repeated 10 minute countdown. On line 142 of Freaksharenet.java, it goes:

if (tt > 180) throw new PluginException(LinkStatus.ERROR_IP_BLOCKED, tt * 1001l);

The problem is that a 10 minute countdown is now standard, so this exception occurs (almost?) every time. I changed it to "if (tt > 600)", and the problem was fixed.

I found and fixed another problem, where Freakshare's "your Traffic is used up for today" message causes downloads to be disabled. Here's the patch for both problems:

freakshare.patch.txt

Here is the fixed hoster plugin for those who don't want to wait for an official fix. Unzip and place it in jd\plugins\hoster.

Freaksharenet.zip

I've got the same problem with "freakshare free" 10minutes wait times and almost unlimited retries.
In Browser the download is working ok after the wait time. I tried your patched plugin but it shows plugin error.

With the "normal" plugin I got "Download quota has been reached" in the log and 10 minute wait time starts again :-( .

My System:
Fixed Ip-Adress (No Reconnect Possible)
Windows 2000 SP4
Java 1.5.0_15

Can anybody help, do you need more infos or is it a known plugin problem which get fixed in the "future"?

The crazy thing is that i only got 2,5 mins waittime.
If i reached the limit i got 10 mins waittime and again 2,5 after a reconnect.
So if i change that for you guys it will be broken for others...

If the wait time is hardcoded. Perhaps it would help to add a minute or 30 seconds to the default wait time of the page? That would be 11 minutes or something less.
