Using proxies?
Is it possible to use Jdownloader or the new beta version with just a single proxie? If so how do you set it up? Or is there a better way to hide my IP address when downloading?
TIA for any assistance. |

Yes.... I know it seems so obvious. However, I still must be doing something wrong. I go to Internet and connections, check the "use proxies" box, enter the IP address for the proxy and the port and then restart. After restart, I check to see if the proxy IP and port is still there. I then copy a Rapidgator link and give it a try. Link grabber cannot check status and I cannot force a download.
I have tried several different proxies and even used the same proxy in FireFox to verify that it works. Any suggestions? |

The Stable might has some problems with proxies.
You can try the JDownloader 2 BETA (see my signature down below) and see if it works there. Note that it's still a BETA version and it contains many bugs. GreeZ pspzockerscene
