how to get links off jdownloader.
hi is there a way or plugin to get the link that jdownloader is using to download the files? the reasoned is that i don't like using jdownloader. i think it a waste of time. it like a middle man. i would love to just download the link straight from the website or a real download manager. but since every body is moving to jdownloader i need to learn who to use it. so far i been trying to get to download at full speed with no luck. and i can only download one link at a time. m using windows xp sp3 with 0.9.579 jdownloader. and my speed are like 300KB/s thanks

What do you mean? Jdownloader by default downloads as many links from a host at a time as it can (which is one for the good providers like MU). If you have a premium account, you can enter your information and it will download all the links at the same time. Download acceleration is a feature of Jdownloader. It only works if you can establish multiple connections to a provider concurrently. Most providers do not allow this without premium access.

You can copy your links (Copy URL) to the clipboard.
If you like another download manager more, please tell us which one and for what reason. Having speed issues ? read this! |

I think what he means is the link that, lets say, Megaupload provides after waiting the 25 (or 45) seconds, not the encrypted link one would provide to Jdownloader.

Decrypted links are protected by jD and you can only get the links that you added to jD.

also is there a way that when you finish downloading a dlc file that it open and start downloading the files from it automatic? cause when it finish downloading it just stays there i have to then click to open it and start downloading the files that are in the dlc file. thanks Last edited by ben dover; 23.06.2010 at 23:57. |

No because JD is there to protect them against abusers. GreeZ pspzockerscene

No, jD doesn't encrypt any links unless you ask it to do so.

Thanks for learning me this. I found it :- Settings -> Basics -> User Interface -> Advanced -> Container (RSDF,DLC,CCF,..) -> Reload Download Container. I think the option is enabled by default, because I never changed it (I never touch anything that I don't understand ). |

But I can't find a way to copy the download URL to clipboard. Link added by copying a download URL to clipboard, caught by JD Link parser, added to downloads. Now, when I select a download and go to (right click) -> Properties -> "open in Browser" or "Show Download URLs", all I get is the page I copied the link from, not the link itself. How do I get the actual link's address? O.o (JD 2, core build #34238) |

You brought up a very old thread.
Double click on link under "Download from", it will display all available URLs.
