JD2 and Multihosters speed issue
This isn't a JD problem, but since many here have experience with multihosters and issues like this, I figured this would be a good place to find some advice.
I use JD2 with multihosters, and lately I've had trouble achieving the proper speed. What's odd about this is that I can get the speed I usually get by simply downloading more at once. I usually do one link at a time and get the max speed from my ISP. Now when downloading a single link, I get about 1/3 of the normal speed. Then, if i download 3 at a time, I'll get the full speed I'm used to. Now this really only becomes an issue when all those links are different things, i.e., not rar packages for the same thing. For instance, if I download something that's 3+ gigs, instead of taking about 10-15 minutes, it takes 40-45. Since I can still get the normal speed I know this isn't a JD problem. The problem will also occur when using the multihosters link generator in my browser. As far as I can tell my ISP isn't throttling me, and multihosters allows me to achieve the same speed anyway, so what's causing this? It only started happening a few days ago. Any help is appeciated, I haven't the slightest idea what could be the cause. Haven't installed any new software or made any changes I can recall. |

I suppose you re talking about "multihoster.com".
Well anyways - speed issues are no JD issues. Check if you got the same problems via browser (check the exact time). Maybe use more simultan downloads. Problems are usually caused by: -FW/AV blocking JD/Java -ISP -Source host (e.g. multihosters.com) -Speed limit/pause mode accidently enabled in JD GreeZ psp
