Default Machine freezes. Hard reset

Jdownloader is the greatest manager out there imo but recently I`m experiencing a serious problem:
Screen freezes, mouse and keboard too. Only hard reset will solve it.
Happens each few hours.
I`m running Windows 7 sp1 64bit
Tried reinstalling jdownloader both online and from file
I installed the latest java version: 1.6.0_31
Installed latest ATI radeon HD 4800 series catalyst video card drivers
What I think I perhaps found in the last 24 hours, that does help a little (in the sense that it stops the whole system from crashing and crashes only Jdownloader) is that I run only 1 or 2 downloads simultaneously. (But that`s not an option for me as then my overall download speed is not at it`s full speed)
Thanks in advance for your time and efforts.

Thank you for your assistance and appologies for not following protocol. As Basic>general>logging level was already set to "ALL" I hope there`s some kind of documentation of crashes. For some reason I was refused login via the jdownloader software (Basic>general>logging) (I tried using the username and password I registered with online to the forum) so I`m uploading through this message`s attachment a log file I found in the jdownloader root directory called restarter.log (hope it has value here)
The forum`s online interface didn`t allow me to upload a .log file so I renamed the extension to .txt.
I cancelled any firewall and antivirus for the purpose of solving this problem and have remained only with the windows 7 firewall.
I`m running jdownloader -last09- version 0.9.581
I`ll be trying to run now jdownloader in a window console hoping I get an emergency log in the next crash (Neither jderr.txt nor jdlog.txt were so far found searching the jdownloader root directory)
Hope I`m not forgeting anything here.

An hour and a half later and windows got frozen again. This time jownloader was started via window console so I`m attaching here a rar file with 2 logs I found in the root: jderr.txt and javalog.txt
(Not sure about this and it probably makes no sense any how but it seems to me this mainly happens when I`m not working on this machine. I have all power saver options disabled - both screen and Hard disk are set to remain always on)

Does the HDD crash\failure relate to the boot drive on which resides the windows system or the HDD to which jdownloader is saving files to?

most likely the latter, but scan all drives to make sure.

Thanks raztoki, This makes sense. I`m running chkdsk on the 2TB download target drive (boot drive appears to be OK) and have already averted all downloads to different target drive (Which, by itself may perhaps serve as some kind of a test)
I`ll be back to report.
