I hope not to fail at the rules posting here... I've tried to search for a solution for my trouble, but didn't find anything. My problem is with Rapidshare, I cannot download any file, with or without proxy. With proxy, I got a "complemento desactualizado" message (sorry, my JD is in Spanish and I don't know how to say it in english; could it be something like "outdated complement"?). Without proxy, it simply gets me disconnected once and again, and tells me to wait 4 minutes, and after those 4 minutes gets me disconnected again and tells me to wait, and so on.

You missed the Host Plug-in forum by a hair but your problem might have a bigger scope. So, let's stay here for a while until we know more.

Can you download from RS with your browser?

Does your browser need a proxy server to download?

Why would you use a proxy server in jD?

Can you download from other hosts with jD?

If you can download links with your browser that you can't download with jD, then something is blocking jD. I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

If this doesn't work please provide example links and a complete and detailed log.
