Is it possible to do this with jdownload?
So I've got a bunch of password encrypted rars that jdownload already downloaded. I believe I have the passwords stored in the passwords/logins settings. Jdownload sometimes reports that extract failed on these rars but there've been times where I found extract was actually successful. Needless to say, the # of rars I have (34 total, in about 20 or so different archives) all have different passwords and I no longer know which password goes to which archive.
All that said, here's what I want to know. Is there a way to have jdownload try to unrar these rar files... knowing that the passwords have got to be 1 of the passwords I've stored in the passwords settings box. I don't want to have to redownload the rar... I can't easily find the original source of the file. Last edited by Jiaz; 14.09.2009 at 02:02. |

And also, JD saves all the passwords you have used --
which is in a strange place, not under the Unrar settings, but Settings/passwords and logins. You can edit this list, and also it's a good idea to copy them all and save them in a text file occasionally. |
