Cool

Chrome is a browser and jD is a download manager.

Currently, the only integration is to copy links or URLs, for which the files need to be downloaded, from your browser to jD.

Do you want more integration? What exactly?

I have an idea how to better integrate with Google Chrome... you could use its session cookies, sometimes just to copy URL is not enough.

Ich denke Google Chrome und JDownloader arbeiten noch nicht gut zusammen.

There's a Chrome extension named JDChrome which does the trick fairly nicely using the FlashGot API.

However, I ran across this thread accidentally while googling up that link because there's an active disagreement between the developer and I'd appreciate any willing input. Specifically, we need an answer to the following question on the Chrome Extensions review tracker:

Quote:
Everyone, André and I are having a little disagreement over the make-up of the JDownloader user base and he suggested I pose a question to you guys [the JDChrome user base] to resolve it.

Do you think JDChrome should have an option which redirects single left-clicks on "non-plaintext" filehost links to JDownloader? (I think it should because I prefer a single left-click to just "do what I mean"... especially when I also have the "Chrome Link Checker" extension installed)

If you want details on our viewpoints, we've elaborated them in Issue 1 on the JDChrome Google Code project. ( **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** )
