Post JDownloader - JUploader?

Hey folks, has somebody of you ever thought about an upload functionality for JDownloader?

Upload files to selected OCHs?
Automatic DL + UP to selected OCHs?

That would make things much easier...

Search before posting.

This has been proposed and rejected. There are already automatic uploaders (they are much simpler). I think one of the better ones is called MultiUpload.

Yes I know about that automatic uploaders but my suggestion was more focused on an automatic DL + UP. In other words a functionality to mirror files without user interaction...

Why do you think it is "JDownloader" ?
We already have enough work with the downloader, we would need a whole new team for an uploader...
I recommend you the z-o-o-m uploader, see here:

Some people might think it's easy to put jD in reverse gear.

It was just a suggestion. I never said / thought that it will be easy. I am coder by myself and know exactly how many work it would be. Naja, wer nicht will der hat schon ^_^

Edit: Thanks for the hint (: (z-o-o-m.eu)

Ganz ehrlich, die Antwort hätteste dir aber denken können
Wenn du ein komplettes Team für sowas findest wäre es möglich aber so nicht^^

The easiest approach would be to build an addon that sends a message to an external program when a file download is completed (this is already in the bugtracker as part of Event Management).

You would use an open-source uploader with a file that stores addresses and logins. The improvement of adding the GUI for addresses and logins to JD is just not worthwhile.

If you wanted to create an open-source addon for JD to send a message to an external program after each download is completed, nobody would try to stop you. You would have to start the program if it were not already running.

In some ways, the JD Extract addon (in Nightly) is similar to what you need and would be a good model for detecting download completion and for the addon interface.
