Confirmed:
Russian chars in the folder names looks ok, problem is with chinese:  Attached text file with two example names: chinese and russian

Ask the devs, it has something to do with the style you use if I remember correctly...

This forum was the solution, but I do not remember thread / topic ... I have several installations JD2 on earlier I had already set on new not I changed the advanced settings. Edit: http://board.jdownloader.org/showthr...hlight=unicode Last edited by djmakinera; 17.01.2014 at 19:40.

Advanced Settings:
SyntheticaSettings: Font Name - change to: Dialog. Then chinese font in folder name is displayed correctly:
