Disable updates and update nags or restrict to once every few weeks

I don't know what kind of people need their software updated every day and sometimes twice per day as JD sometimes does but I obviously am not one of them so how do I stop updates and nags to update...

There is no way to decline the second offer...

There is no way to decline the second offer (Opera) i.e. there is no decline button! Is there supposed to be one? The only options are Back and Next. There is a decline button for the first offer...
