API mode is currently disabled. The plugin currently enforces Website mode until we found a working api solution.

@Neurotoxin001: That's the file I checked and it did not work for me. The link/commit of your had no changes regarding api mode of tiktok and was older than the earliest reports of tiktok failing...

tiktok has changed API. Just tested other tools...

tiktok has changed API. Just tested other tools and API mode doesn't work anymore for them either.
It is unknown when/if we can find a way to access/use API again
