Ran into a similar problem on my mac. I deleted jdownloader beta and reinstalled it and this didn't solve the problem, but did what Lram 32 said and now it's behaving as expected.

Posting links results in just 1 image getting downloaded, not entire thread of images. 4chan did some rewritting of the site recently (yesterday I think is when it was rolled out) and jdownloader...

I would add that individual picture links work fine, just not the threads. I'll be pleased when the fix gets deployed. thanks for everything.
