just wanted to say thank you for the first suggestion; to delete the two folders and core.jar file. That solution worked perfectly for me for this particular problem.

I just did a fresh install of Windows 10 x64 1909. I have no antivirus installed and both Windows Defender and Firewall are disabled at a registry level.

the problem is that for the plugin to update we need to be able to 'update' the app, but the app continues to insist it is up to date.

worked fine approximately 5 hours ago. Sometime since then, this error showed up.

I'm just happy this isn't a problem just for me :)

Hopefully the jDownloader team re-adds it. Using a web browser to download all these links is a pain.

extmatrix.com is listing as 'permanently offline' in the jdownloader app, but the website still exists. My premium account still exists, and the links still appear to work when using a chrome...
