Question Packagename incorrectly cleaned?

Suddenly the packagenames of newly added files have started to be renamed incorrectly
Dots and underlines etc are being deleted
eg
12.12.1980_a_file.jpg
gets a packagename of
12121980afile
...

When a file has downloaded but it's crc check has failed, the active task column shows a green tick
Shouldn't it show a red x or something to show an error has occurred?

Photoshop's one of the easiest to spot it on because the clipboard data is quite large, and it looks like jd locks the clipboard...

And there's the 'stuck' one - it's the first first file to try and be unrared after the failed unrar
It's been stuck on 'extracting' for about 2 days going by the timestamp on the rar's themselves

Sorry this is such rough information, but I've seen lots of 'does not extract' posts with no particular cause or cure and have the sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't...
