This was giving me trouble as well, I couldn't get LS links to work even in browser mode, so I switched to JD2 which works great. It's a bit of a challenge to figure out how JD2 works though! But...

Solution?
I can negate this problem by entering a character in the Add URL box, then hitting Parse URL. I'm running Vista. This solution has worked 5 times in a row now.
