For W7 you should use the 32 bits version of the JRE.

Please, allow java.exe and javaw.exe in your firewall and virus software. Also disable the html/web scanner in your virus software.

For W7 you better move jD to a folder like c:\progs\jdownloader and check whether all protections are removed, also on the sub-folders.
