JDownloader is free; has been for many years. It's an invaluable workflow assistant and the developers are, apart from generous, unique in how available they are for feedback and concerns. Who else does this? Anybody tried to get a personal answer from one of your app developers lately? A service you subscribe to? I repeat; JDownloader is free and yet it's more dependable than things I pay for. Keep your misplaced sense of entitlement in check if you haven't done so yet.
Thanks, above all else, to the JDownloader team for all the work. This issue with YouTube appears to have been solved, as of now. I can't remember the last time these downloads worked so well; so fast and with the correct file type in place.
