I use FreeRapid Downloader, then convert from flv to mp4 in another program.
ITV.com is another source that JD used to work with, but unfortunately not any more. In FreeRapid Downloader's plugin list, ITV is shown as 'working' but it doesn't. For ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 etc, I rely on various other download sources.
