Hello. Any update on this? This problem has persisted for me, for several years now. I do not know if the problem is host-specific and something that is being controlled server-side, but I am really curious about whether or not there are any solutions for this.
As previously mentioned by detham, I can manually stop/start the downloads when speeds slow to a crawl, but sometimes this has to be done multiple times, on the same file, and it would be preferable if no intervention were required at all, such as an automatic stop/start whenever a file's download speed drops below a specified amount.
I currently experience this problem with Rapidgator files, via RPnet. I can test other hosts, if needed.
