nothing has changed in our youtube plugins for months that would influence that.
there are checkboxes in JDownloader 0.9 and JDownloader 2.0 for fast crawling which doesn't do filesize checks. Fast crawling is also auto enabled under different circumstances to reduce loads, for example if you add large playlists etc.
