I'm also experiencing this problem. MyJdownloader Android version correctly lists my two connected devices, but when I click on either, it displays an empty list with the message "No Downloads". Also, when I go to the Settings section, the message "Update check failed!" is displayed instantly, and the button "Check for updates" doesn't work.
I'm using Android 5.0
