This could also be a hardware issue.
Please check the following:
1. Check your LAN cable. If you're using wireless, try again with a cable. If you're using a cable, use another one.
2. Check your RAM e.g. using memtest86.
3. Make sure that firewall/AV scanner is not blocking JDownloader.
This is NOT a JDownloader issue.
