We are all frustrated. This is not the only broken host plugin, nor is it the first time that the mediafire plugin has been broken. It can take months to get a plugin fixed.
It
cannot be fixed until a developer has time for it. Do not complain about how long this is taking. We cannot speed it up. Your complaints actually slow the process.
