I think you maybe mis-interpreted him.

The filesize displayed in the linkgrabber is estimated and is only a temporary value.
As long as JD is downloading the streams and not the original file this is fairly accurate but not when downloading the original file.
If you want me to, I can try to detect this and display no filesize at all for original-downloadable files.
Once the download is started, you can see the real filesize.
