Well I tried forwarding the port under Virtual servers, and even tried under Special Applications setting triggers and incoming ports, and then even enabled DMZ for laughs. No matter what when I click "Start" to begin the recording phase, my IE browser opens with that local 8972, and page not found. I can't understand why it's not going to my routers interface! I will try FireFox, Chrome or something, but this is just getting crazy.

Just tried Chrome, and pretty much the same thing after clicking 'Start':
