Checked what happens when you set a speed limit? eg to 50/80% of your max speed? to test if the high speed or long/high usage is cause of the issue?
Checked for driver updates/downgrade? Tried WLAN (if available) and test if it happens there as well?
Do you have other devices in network(computer, mobile phone)? Do you have to restart NUC or router or both?
