Java crashing is always a sign of
1.) killed by 3rd party application like firewall/av
2.) hardware issues
3.) driver issues
Java/JDownloader doesn't crash to *now here, now gone*.

Crashing during decryption can either be sign of hardware issues or firewall/av don't like what the extracted file looks like and then killing the process. Not having a hs_err file is a strong sign that Java is getting killed.
