This is what I was told by UL today in which they basically blame JD for the problem: "Should you use reconnect function in your JDownloader, we hope that you are aware it changes the IP frequently during the downloads, which leads to IP blocks." So UL blames you for the problem and you blame my ISP for the problem. Someone is lying but who and why, I don't know. UL supposedly supports and uses https although I have yet to see it fully functional yet. I also am not the one that is choosing the hoster it is my clients who chose UL due to the lack of restrictions as to who can download what. Many hosters now make it so that only the uploader can access and download files as a means of discouraging piracy. Then there's the short list of hosters premium accounts that are actually available to the US. Most are not these days for one reason or another - piracy being the primary one - and US issued credit cards are immediately declined.
