The msvcrt.dll that is being used is the copy from the Java JRE directory.
If you are using a different version, please try installing Java 32 bit J2SE JRE 6 update 21 from "java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/6u21/index.html"
If that does not fix the problem review message 22 and start JD with the command line shown (you can create a batch script).
