Just tested and directhttp way works perfectly fine.
Filter rules are for filtering! Raztoki was talking about linkcrawler rules.
just append 'directhttp: //' without space
in front of the url and JDownloader will *eat* the url as direct download.
Or you create linkcrawler rules and teach JDownloader what urls(regex) to process as direct downloads.
