I've encountered the same problem with Filefox.
In the browser, Filefox puts up a captcha but after you solve it Filefox forces you to wait 60 seconds before putting up the download link. The wrinkle is that if you change the focus away from the Filefox web page, the countdown stops. So they force you to look at their countdown screen for the entire 60 seconds.
IIRC, Filejoker did the same thing a few weeks ago but that problem disappeared from JD2. I'd guess that the JD2 developers found a way around that very annoying tactic.
