No idea I'am not using k2s.
From my experience, it does not matter where it comes from.
You need to know a valid Referer and it will work for all URLs.

You cannot.
As explained above by raztoki, the Referer is just the sourcewebsite your browser sends.
If you are in the forum "mysourceforum.xyz" and click on a k2s URL you will get forwarded to k2s and k2s will know "this user just came from mysourceforum.xyz" --> Decide whether it gives you higher speeds based on that or not.
Because JDownloader does not usually know- and send Referers, we have this mentioned setting where you can add a referer.
