My experience is not quite the same as others so here's my report.
With account disabled, it can grab all public photos just fine. With account enabled, it won't grab anything at all (from public or private accounts you are following) - linkgrabber simply does nothing in this instance. Disabling the account means grabbing public profiles works fine again.
With account enabled, linkgrabber does nothing upon copying a url of a private photo to clipboard. Sometimes if you copy a user's profile url to clipboard, linkgrabber will crawl the whole profile and find images. Though, I can't say if it is finding every available image, or only certain images as others reported issues with albums. Regardless, with account logged in, linkgrabber is broken.
It has been this way for 1-2 months now.
