Yah think we need to change how this works going forward. Have view states and allow toggles for those given states verse the statically assigned options. That way users can choose which view states they want active at any given time. It gives the largest flexibility possible. I've brought this up with coalado just waiting for feedback and then I'll make a svn ticket.
We will change the view state to allow more flexibility, no eta on when this will get done.
