Oh yeah, I thought you handle that already.
the haswebp bool seems to change the part of the url "/webp" into "/images.
in their common.js it's defined here

function url_from_hash(galleryid, image, dir, ext) {
ext = ext || dir ||'.').pop();
dir = dir || 'images';

seems they either pass 'webp' or nothing (to have 'images' by default)
I can't guarantee that, but I didn't see any other case for now
