Lightbulb bad precaching of large files

sometimes, when downloading a large file... the pre-loading of the file either does not happen or happens but opens with only a single download thread (when 8 are selected)|

Resetting the file does not solve this, jd seems to remember the file, and no preloading occurs again

could 'reset' be changed so that it is completely removed and the pre-cachig of the file can start again?

What do you mean by "preloading"?

when JD downloads a file, it splits it into sections, and writes the whole file to the disk first and fills the file with the data it downloads.

Reset will usually completely delete the file and reset the link-status.

in this case , it does not do that. once a file has started downloading, reset wil start the download over again, but will not attempt to pre-cache the file, which results in an EXTREMELY slow download

You mean it will only use 1 chunk/segment?

I cannot reproduce this bug.
I started a download (not from uploaded.to, not via premium) and resetted it after some seconds -> JD restarted it, still using 2 chunks!

for example a file from putlocker, 1gb in size uses 4 threads. I wait 30secs-1min to create the file, the it downloads

if i RESET it, it doesnt recreate the file, and starts download with 1 thread only. every time
