Default Is It Possible to Limit The Files' Name?

Hello guys,

I'm recently downloanding youtube videos, and i realized something. Some videos with long name isn't copied another path or deleted because of windows character limit, there are few ways to copy or delete but it is a little bit hard. So, can i limit the files' names in jdownloander like 150 characters before i download?

you can do it yes
package customiser rule
filename contains = (.{0,150}) (regex)
then
jd:originalfilename:1 (use dyn tags available from right click)

Thank you, it worked but i have 2 different problems now. You can see in the attachment. The main folder name doesn't change, i did the character limit 5 for test, everything limited with 5 letter thats fine but as you can see the main folder name didn't change. Second when i limit file char. the filename extension also disappears, can i prevent it?

package customer rules work in sequence of order and only when items enter linkgrabber.

use tag original file type tag ?
you might have to adjust the original regular expression I gave you not to listen to the previous extension otherwise you end up with .mp4.mp4 for example.
