Default jetload.net Question about particular video hosting

The hosting is jetload.net.
I've discovered the following: when adding a link to JD, the file size reported seems to be from the original file, before it was uploaded to jetload.

Example: A 1080p video file, with size 2 GB, got uploaded to jetload.net, then if you try to watch it with the link, you'll be watching a 720p version (auto-compressed, I suppose), with size 250 MB. But if you add this link to JD, it will display 2 GB as size, and then it will ask to go through some captcha, and when the actual download process is started, it will change to 250 MB.

I wanted to ask how this works, and if it's possible to somehow get the original 2 GB file with JD. I've looked into the page source and only found a video tag with "blob" in the src attribute. I don't know how to debug such things.

I suspect that the download link you use got redirected when the download actually starts, even when it get the correct file on LinkGrabber.

Try Right Click on the download > Properties > Show Download URLs > Double Click on the Download From url

Also sharing an example link would help the Support Team on checking this issue faster.

Hi,

at this moment I'm not able to perform linkchecking of jetload files but anyways - here is my theory:
We're using their API to check links of this filehost:
jetload.net/docs
As you can see in their documentation, this will return the original filesize but never the transcoded filesize:
jetload.net/docs/#file_status

Also, according to their docs, downloading the original file is not possible (?)

I will mard this one as "declined" for now but if you find a way, just let me know.

By the way their API seems to be broken/buggy at this moment.
It returns "maintenance" here no matter which request I'm doing.
