How to set up a proxy? (Using public proxy list)
How to use a proxy? So I opened for example the site **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
I took the proxy list from the first page and added it to the program. Unchecked "no proxy". But I don't see it working.

Hi,
1. Before adding proxies to JD I recommend manually testing them via browser in beforehand. I doubt that you've tested all of those proxies manually. 2. I strongly advise against using public proxy lists as those are mostly unreliable/down/restricted as you can see in your screenshot. 3. We got a support article which shows how you can see the used proxy in JD when downloading.

I don't know how to properly test them in the browser. I usually used an extension that already has proxy settings built in. Manually I'm trying to use the proxy for the first time...

Google "how to use a proxy in chrome firefox opera" and you should be good to go.
While we are willing to help our users, you should be able to find out about those basics on your own.

I did not find how to use the proxy specifically in the browser. Just like on the whole PC.

Looks like modern browsers are using the OS'("Whole PC") proxy settings so that's fine and you can add your proxy to your System/"Whole PC" for testing.
