My personal attempt to get all items of a playlist would be this one:
1. Get the browser addon "LinkGopher".
2. Open the playlist in browser and scroll all the way down so all items of the playlist are visible.
3. Obtain all video URLs.
4. In JD YT plugin settings go to "If link contains Video & Playlist Information" -> Set this to "Process video only".
5. Add all links to JD.
--> Basically as described **External links are only visible to Support Staff**....

is there a way to make this jd2 popup never appear again ? i have youtube users lists that checks hourly for new videos and this popup notification has become annoying (i don't want to run jd2 in silent mode because of this)

YEP. Any link, any video the speed is limited to around 70kb/s to 80kb/s.

i ran jdownloader through a german VPN and got the same issue, although i'm still logged into my YT account on JDownloader so maybe that affects things

The LinkGrabber does activate when I copy the link ... but can't find a "download link".

Strangely, I can download parts 1 and 3 of the same 'Ways of Seeing" series just fine.

I'm in Australia and its just started affecting me in the last 12 hours. Can't get more than 80Kb/s on any Youtube link, other sites unaffected.

edit - I just checked downloading a YT link with IDM and it still downloads at my max bandwidth so this seems to be a JD2 issue.

OK I have noticed another issue .Have you or any other users noticed some files come unavailable and if you force download start it and its works and downloads ok.

Guys! This is not the first time this problem has occured and it's not that simple:
- Websites such as YT can change and "break JD plugins" while we didn't do anything
- This issue has been present in the past and was caused by YT changes -> We are aware of that and it is being worked on
- Regarding "IDM is working": Afaik IDM is using a browser plugin to find the direct-URLs while JD is generating them itself -> You cannot compare those two tools as they work in a completely different way -> You cannot use IDM for fully automated YT downloading afaik
- Regarding "yt-dlp is working" -> That may be the case. It has either been fixed faster or it was built in a way which by mistake or on purpose, was able to cope with the most recent internal YT changes
- "It broke after a JD update" -> No it didn't. We haven't touched YT for a while now.

Short version: Wait for us to fix it.

Not related to the current low speed issues but related to the channel/playlist crawler:

Next update will contain a lot of changes regarding that crawler:

- fixed pagination of playlist crawler -> Playlists containing 100+ items can be crawled again
- added option to define how channels/profiles should be crawled: Either like they're displayed on YT website or e.g. channel as playlist 'Uploads by XY' (on YT this can be found under '/@username/featured' -> 'Play all' [default])
- updated GUI elements
- added setting to limit max number of items to crawl from channel/playlist (default = crawl all) refs #90250 | Reference thread and more information: Click
- added support to crawl all shorts of a profile | '/@user/shorts'
- added new filename tag "PLAYLIST_SIZE" which returns the full size of a playlist. This may not always be given.

To get around the playlist option until the update comes..

For users that want to download entire channel.

Just scroll out the entire channel video list and highlight them all.They will get loaded in to Linkgrabber.

Its time consuming but it will get what you want downloaded.

Got 1000's of YT videos into Linkgrabber doing this way.

seems to be fixed (for the moment) with the latest update. back to 1.8 MBytes per second instead of 56 KBytes / s. i actually kinda like when it gets broken as i'm much more mindful of what i watch when i have to wait 20 minutes for every 480p video thanks for fixing it

It's no longer 50kb/s but ~500-1200kb/s (average 700-900). I wonder wheather the problem is my internet connection or not. Speedtests show 2,6-2,7MB/s permanently. Is somebody else experiencing this?
Edit: It's jumping from 200-300-500-600-900-200kb/s all the time. I don't think the problem is YT or my connection.

I've been attempting to download a trailer from youtube for the last hour. I'm seeing an average of 40 KB/s for 5 minutes or so, then it JDownloader pauses the download.

Wenn ich das Video aufrufe kann ich es aber mit Rechtsklick "Copy Video URL" doch noch laden. Aber mir ist es lieber meine Aufnahmen direkt aus dem Feed zu holen.

Wenn ich den Link kopiere, dann ist da aber kein watch?v= Das muss ich dann jedes Mal händisch machen. Dann kann ich auch das Video aufrufen und rechtsklicken. Also temporärer Workaround ist das ok, aber auf Dauer wäre es mir schon lieber, wenn ich wieder einfach nur den Link kopieren könnte.
