Hey everybody,
I have difficulties to download from cloud.freemdict.com.
For example here .zip: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
The first time downloaded Jdownloader 5,36 GB. The second time - 4,9 GB.
in the actual directory there are more files, about 40 GB: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
If you give this link without "/download"-part JD can't find any other links.
I can put a logfile if needed.
I think that smaller .zip files work good, at least the filesize and the number of files in .zip after the download seems to be the same as in the link. Example: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Jiaz will need to investigate that later but my guess that it is a serverside issue.
Can you reproduce that issue?
What filesize do you get when downloading that URL manually via browser?

For me that file is at least 11GiB in size.I've stopped my test before it downloaded 100%.

Simple explanation:
That website is using "nextcloud".
We neither have a generic plugin for nextcloud instances nor do we support "cloud.freemdict.com" so at this moment you can only download direct-URLs of that website.

First I tried to download it via browser but it failed. Almost at the beginning. The name of the error was "Broken" or something like that. It was in Firefox. What browser did you use for it?

For me that file is at least 11GiB in size.I've stopped my test before it downloaded 100%.

Do you think the actual size of the file is not much bigger as 11 GiB?
If you open the link **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
you can see the size at the bottom of the page: 43 GiB. I thought it is the right size but I don't really know.

@jdjon10: the zip export happens *on the fly* and can't be resumed. So as soon as an error happens, most likely the cause for you, the download is stopped and JDownloader *thinks* the download is finished because there is no file size known/signaled by server.

Those export *on the fly* stuff has the disadvantage that most often it cannot be resumed and a download error will result in incomplete archive and the need to download again from start. You could report this to their support,as this can also be caused by server side (configuration)issues

@jdjon10: I think best would be to wait until proper support for this (next/own cloud, webdav) is available, then JDownloader can download/resume those files

I don't see this happening in the near future so my recommendations for now are:

• Download smaller folders / zip archives manually
• and or: Contact their support and tell them about the issues you were having
