Downloading Multiple Files with the same name yet from different sources.
Certain files when ripped from different links from a website have the same name even though the file itself is unique. Like two different links with the same site structure might both have a "photo.jpg" but the file "photo.jpg" is a different photo for each link.
jDownloader wont allow me to rename them before I download. I can only insert them into a package and place them in a separate folder. This can be a real drag when I'm downloading several files of the same name. I haven't downloaded several files with the same name one after the other fearing that the existing one would get replaced. Is there a way I can rename the files instead of placing them into different folders? If not rename, does anyone know if the file will automatically get renamed to "photo(2).jpg" or "photo(3).jpg" or something like that? Could really use the forum's help. Thanks in advance Last edited by Jiaz; 21.08.2012 at 11:31. |

in upcomming JD2 you will be able to rename them before downloading
also autorename will be fixed in JD2, in old JD it is broken/not working very good. I guess at the moment you have to stick with different folders and wait for next JD2
