Works great now, thank you. For anyone else curious you can disable it in the advanced settings.

we are aware of your issue, but can not reproduce it. Thus can't identify or apply a fix. Please do not make anymore posts about it, as its pointless exercise.

each to their own!
Keep in mind that JDownloader 2.0 is built ontop of JDownloader 0.9 with very customisable features. You can make it nearly identical to JDownloader 0.9 (gui wise) if you spend some time with menu, and toolbar editors. Putting that aside, its more than likely that you haven't given it more than a day before coming to that conclusion, nor changed any settings, which is quite typical of these comments (not sound rude).

@everyone about subtitles,
it's a known issue

Since around 16 pm ( GMT ) , I can't download videos from youtube. Jdownloader does not make the autosearch to the youtube clipboard links and if forced, it only gives a bunch of the youtube page jpegs and gifs and no video or audio files.

As a example, when I try this video ( **External links are only visible to Support Staff**... ) , I get this after forcing detection :

Spoiler:

I have JD 2.0 ( beta ) up to date and java version is also up to date ( 8.31 ). The log is:

30.01.15 20.17.44to30.01.15 18.41.15 jdlog://4464237732241/

On the right side, I see Views: Custom Views, File Types, Hoster. They are all ticked.

@r_rolo1
which was your input URL ? our forum has a slight bug and it's lost in the obstruction routine. If you could please post again it would be useful. I see you coping a lot of URLs from youtube and they show up in httplinks (directhttp plugin) and fails because of it. Are you adding links via flashgot by any chance, or have htmlflavour enabled in advanced? If so on the latter, it will analyse HTML and try to download links via directhttp plugin and will most likely fail!

By the way I'm downloading fine at the moment, so it's clearly something localised or behaviour in how you import links.

@oortcloud
works fine here, something on your side is messed up (maybe not updated JDownloader 2.0). I've merged all your posts, no need to create a separate thread and also contribute here also.

@raztoki

Well, I was able to pinpoint the issue to a faulty extension update last Thursday and a update of them from a restore point made it work ok. BTW I had htmlflavor on, but that was not the culprit.

Thanks for the help

Since a few days, youtube.com plugins can not detect subtitle .SRT, even I had update jdownloader. Last week it's still working, but now when I add new link it can't show .SRT file. In my old downloads list that already have a link with .SRT when I force download it report "file not found". here some links exaples:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

plase fix it, Thanks.

Default Youttube videos offline

Bitte beheben!

think lenny joined IRC, and if its the same person, its been resolved. It was his VPN software that caused the problem.

I had tried JD 2 way back when and was just going off my initial experience with it. I missed the simpleness of 0.9 I guess, but based on your comment I decided to give it a full go and try to customize it to make it more suited to my liking and you are right, after a week of working on the settings I now think I have it where I like it enough to stick with it. Appreciate you not giving up on me and giving me some good advice... RIP 0.9

Hi,

I am trying to download the following video
"Let's Play (YU-NO) - Part 1 [Prologue Day 1]"
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The video file does not show up but the image file does.
Upon investigation, I understand that the file was tagged as "Age-restricted video".

I can view the video no problem when I'm logged into Youtube though. [My JDownloader is also configured to use the same login]

What is "htmlflavour"? Where is that setting?

In the past I have always gone to Youtube and copied the entire URL to the clipboard. Then JD Linkgrabber automatically did the rest.

Now, the only thing I get is .jpg image files and no video.

I'm using JD2.

isn't working implies it has worked in the past, I'll let you into a little secrete, it never has. Please ask in the suggestion and wishes thread.

@YourNameHere
when you copy text in chrome and firefox not only does it copy text it also copies the entire sites html in a component on clipboard. JD can anaylse this also, you can disable this feature in advanced setting, use keyword htmlflavor

Well then maybe check your Firewall/AV Scanner.
How many connections per download (max chunks) do you use?

I have the same problem as Lenny1 mentioned here:
https://board.jdownloader.org/showpo...postcount=1446

All videos on youtube appear offline, but I can watch them in browser (firefox).

This problem exists now für about 2 weeks with JDownloader 0.9.581.
What can I do?

I wiped out my JD installation and re-installed JD2. Now I am able to download YouTube videos just fine.

Apparently there is something in JD that became corrupted.

After downloading some videos through youtube, I've noticed that JDownloader doesn't download videos from Youtube through https when you give it an https URL, because the connections created by jdownloader goes to port 80 instead of 443, I've only checked for file downloads, not when jdownloader was checking an video's existance. I'm using the Tue Feb 10 20:20:12 CET 2015 build.

Default YouTube link is 100% offline

Afternoon developers,

Just wanted to report an issue I found with this one particular YouTube video. It has been online for 2 weeks now, yet every time I've tried downloading since it was uploaded (about 7 times now), JD picks it up as "100% offline".

I can't seem to replicate this problem with other links.

The YT link is here: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Log is here: http://jdownloader.net:8081/pastebin/133151

Thank you very much!

Ah okay, wasn't aware that JD2 Beta was accessible to the public. Just found the download page.

Quick question: Can I run the beta version alongside the stable version?

Cheers!
