Direct Connection problem - no IPv4 binding
Hi,
I'm struggling to get Direct Connect working. I've set these settings: Code:
MyJDownloaderSettings: Preferred IPVersion = IPV4_ONLY MyJDownloaderSettings: Manual Local Port = 3129 MyJDownloaderSettings: Direct Connect Mode = Allow lan/wan connections with manual port forwarding MyJDownloaderSettings: Manual Remote Port = 3129 When I run a netstat on my server, I can only see JDownloader binding on IPv6 to port 3129. There is no IPv4 binding. I presume the lack of IPv4 binding is why Direct Connect is not working. Any ideas how to resolve? Jdownloader Rev: #43459 Java 9.0.4 Ubuntu 20.04 Thanks, SpannerBracket |

Preferred IPVersion only is about DNS resolution and connecting to our relay server. Has nothing to do with direct connections.
Under linux tcpv6 and tcpv4 sockets are shown as tcpv6, see unix.stackexchange.com/questions/237731/why-are-ipv4-tcp-connections-showing-as-tcp6 you will only see two entries if you bind to ipv4 and ipv6 in seperat! I would recommend we take a look via Teamviewer, contact me via support@jdownloader.org Are you running FritzBox router? or any router that blocks DNS rebinding? see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...ode---fritzbox
