Default Strange Linkgrabber view behavior

Hi,

Since the latest update the Linkgrabber view acts weirdly.
Whenever it parses new links, it adds a group, scrolls to make the new group visible, then scrolls back, sometimes just a single row, sometimes more.
Very annoying.

Edit:
I doesn't happen always but it happens frequently.

Edit.2:
It might have something to do with number of items in the linkgrabber view because I've cleaned it up a bit and the issue's gone.

Thanks in advance,
M

There have been no changes for gui since long time. JDownloader tries to keep the selection intact. So when new links will move your selection (eg the selected link changes package) then this could cause the issue. If that wasn't the case, then we need a way to reproduce the issue on our side.

Hi,

It wasn't merging a new link into an existing package or anything like that.
Pasted links, a new package appeared at the bottom, then the view scrolled up. If I scrolled down, the package became visible again.
Sometimes it happened multiple times with a new package (paste links > new package at bottom > autoscroll up > manual scroll down > autoscroll up).
Most of the times it scrolled up one row but sometimes 2 or 3 rows.

As I mentioned, after cleaning up (removing) a bunch of links this phenomenon disappeared, that's why I think it might have something to do with the number of packages/links in the view.

Cheers,
M

JDownloader will restore the selection/scrollbar position to selection. So when you just scroll down/up without changing the selection, then the scrollbar will always revert to match the current selection.
This logic is the same/untouched since beginning.
JDownloader remembers last selection and tries to restore it and with selection the scrollbar position is determined. It doesn't remember those two information (selection, scrollbar) independently
