Post Slow download for videos

When I download videos from YouTube, the audio tracks are downloaded at full speed of my connection, but video tracks download speed hangs around 1/10 of what's possible.

Is there a way to improve this? Seeing as the video tracks are the largest part of the file, and it takes quite some time at slow speeds.

I'm on Win XP SP3, JDownloader 2, and my connection is 100mbps.

Youtube limits bandwidth to actual required bandwidth since long time now. In the past it was possible to bypass this limitation but not anymore (at least we don't know any way). You can only try to increase max connections but I wouln't recommend settings higher values than 4

Actually, 4K Video Downloader does this job quickly, even in older versions. Granted it's not free, but I'm just saying that it is possible. I was just looking to get the same speeds from JDownloader.

Only way to increase speed is to use multiple connections like I suggested with *you can only try to increase*. I'm not aware of any real working bypass to this limitation
