JD Unrar NOT removing files ...
I have JD Unrar set to remove RAR files when extraction is complete.
However it is NOT removing them, they are piling up and need to be manually erased. The files extract OK (they are valid), just that the RAR files are not being removed like they should. First deep extraction causes JD to stop DL's, now even simple delete when extraxtion is complete does not work. It seems the unrar module is getting a bit cranky. Shouls I just download a fresh copy of JD? I will gen a log later today and post. Any suggestions? Thanks! ... W ... |

Found the answer tonight ... similar to what you said.
The directory name had a non-standard character. Once I fixed that, unRAR and delete are back to working fine. Again ... I searched the board, researed threads about the unRAR module and saw references to character set. That directed me to the solution. Search is your friend. Cheers! ... W ... |

This is a nice example of how the Germans don't support the Greek.
