Default Difference between *DATE_UPLOAD* and *DATE_PUBLISHED*

What is the difference between *DATE_UPLOAD* and *DATE_PUBLISHED* for Youtube? Are they both just the same thing?

I want to match the date Youtube shows at the bottom of a video before the description. So basically I want the date when the video was made public.

UPLOAD = upload date of the video
PUBLISHED = date when the video got published
You can upload (eg today) a video and not yet publish it (eg tomorrow)
So DATE_PUBLISHED is what you are looking for

some content providers upload weeks in advanced and release on a specific schedule. Not sure how much of the date information is available at accurate level, as the api that we used years ago was removed.
